Edge Glue Technology

Our tight knot, kiln dried, Edge Glued lumber is produced to SPS 6 requirements. It is interchangeable with lumber of the same grade with respect to NLGA standards.

The Edge Glue Process

We use a specially formulated adhesive G-2305 LV with catalyst G-1650. The glue joint is a stronger bond than the wood portion in shear tests performed by the manufacturer.

2x10 and 2x12 S1S2E
1x10 and 1x12 S1S2E

Available in: S1S2E Re-Sawn face

  • Color-matched to create consistent grain and appearance. 
  • Smaller, tighter knots than lumber of the comparable grade with respect to NLGA standards. 
  • Improves stability, reducing bow, crook and twist.

    Finger-Joint & Edge Glued

    Wide width, Tight Knot, Kiln Dried and Edge-Glued Finger-Joint
    2x12 and 2x10  Available in S1S2E Re-Sawn face .
